Mision

The main mision Mafisu wants to ahcieve is to offer every inhabitant of cienaga de Oro, with all the educative teaching services based on fundamental principles as respect, sense of belonging etc.

Vision

The main vision of Mafisu is to be one of the most recognized organization of eduction throughout the department.

The institución Educativa Marco Fidel Suarez is located in the north of Ciénaga de Oro in the equis neighborhood; this institution belongs to low social class. It was founded in 1963 by Guillermo Pacheco. It is the biggest public institution in Ciénaga de Oro; this is an academic school with double working journal from morning to afternoon. The school offers kindergarten, primary and secondary level. This institution also offers a long education on Fridays and Saturdays. This school has a population of 1873 students. It has 31 classrooms, 70 teachers specialized in different areas.

In this institution there are two multiple rooms, an audiovisual room, a teacher room, a director, an academic coordination and a secretary office, a library, two cafeterias, a biology, chemistry, physics lab, a computing room, two soccer fields, a material room, a basketball court, thirty-one classrooms, green zones, a pond and a small park.
